Re-Imagine Earth Day: A Free, Collaborative, Family-Friendly Celebration of Sustainability in Eugene

Who: Lane County nonprofits, community groups, government agencies, vendors, businesses, artists and educational institutions will be there!

Re-Imagine Earth Day is more than just a gathering—it is an opportunity to engage, learn, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier planet.

This free, family-friendly, dynamic, indoor/outdoor event, hosted by the Materials Exchange Center for Community Arts (MECCA), BRINGCity of Eugene Waste Prevention, and Waste Wise Lane County–a part of Lane County Waste Management–will provide attendees a chance to:

  • Connect with organizations, nonprofits, agencies, and businesses promoting sustainable behaviors, programs, products, and services.
  • Explore eco-friendly products and services from local vendors.
  • Discover artisans who incorporate recycled, upcycled, or sustainable materials into their work.
  • Enjoy performances by artists whose creations inspire environmentally responsible themes.
  • Eat delicious food from local vendors.

Parking

Bikes

Cascadia Mobility will provide free bike parking options adjacent to the Farmers Market Pavilion, and bike repairs are free, too (provided by Shift Community Cycles)! These services are provided via funding from the Lane Council of Governments.

Bus

Bus services are available through Lane Transit District. 

Cars

Metered parking is available along the streets neighboring the Farmers Market Pavilion & Plaza, with additional parking available throughout downtown. The Parcade, located at 35 W. 8th Ave. and The Overpark, located at 1000 E, 10th Ave., are both easy to find and close to the venue. Rental of the parking lot adjacent to the Pavilion is possible based on availability. Keep in mind that no vehicles will be permitted to be left at the building or in the lot overnight. ADA parking stalls are located in front of the Lane County building across Oak St. on 8th Ave. and on the east side of Oak at 8th.
