The Oregon Recycling Modernization Act is a new law designed to make recycling simpler, fairer, and more effective across the entire state. Passed in 2021, it will begin major changes on July 1, 2025. This lesson will help students understand what it means to recycle, where things go when we throw them away, and what is now recyclable under the new RMA law.
